About me
Michael Confer, MD is a board-certified radiation oncologist specializing in the treatment of a wide range of cancers, with particular expertise in proton therapy, head and neck cancers, pediatric malignancies, and central nervous system tumors. Dr. Confer earned his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, where he also completed his residency in radiation oncology. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and has over 15 years of clinical experience treating complex cancer cases. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Confer has a strong interest in advanced treatment techniques including stereotactic radiosurgery and proton therapy, as well as the management of late effects of cancer treatment. He is known for his thoughtful, patient-centered approach—taking time to ensure patients and their families feel informed, supported, and confident in their care.
